Install
- Download MouseLock.dmg from the latest GitHub release.
- Open the DMG and drag MouseLock into Applications.
- If macOS says it cannot verify the app: open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. Or run
xattr -cr /Applications/MouseLock.appin Terminal. - Look for the icon in the menu bar (top of screen) — there is no Dock icon.
- Click the display icon in the menu bar, pick your screen, and lock.
Build from source
- Clone the repo and open
MouseLock.xcodeprojin Xcode. - Press ⌘ R to run. Requires macOS 13+.
